We can transfer any format to digital.

With all of our film transfers, we take great care to ensure we get the best possible digital reproductions of your memories. We treat every order as if it were our own. With “direct to digital telecine” technology, we’re able to take any format of film and transfer it to digital without any flicker. Once digitized, these memories can be passed on for generations to come.

Available output formats: mp4, AVI, DVD, Blu-Ray, USB drive, external hard drive.

Tapes come in many formats and we can digitize all of them! Transferring tape to digital or DVD is a permanent way to preserve your memories. Time is also very important. The older they are, the degeneration of the film increases and picture quality drops. Also storing them in damp basements can cause tape to stick together and become unplayable. Dry and warm places are best for storing tapes until they are transferred.

Tape formats we can transfer:
Regular 8mm, Hi8, Digital 8, Beta, VHS, VHS-C, Mini DV, DVC, DVCam, DVCPRO, Betacam, Betacam SP plus all Foreign formats Pal, Secam, Pal -M, Pal-N, NTSC4.43, Mesecam. Plus any Video Camera hard drive, Video Disc Camera, SD Card or USB Stick

Output format:
MP4, AVI, DVD, Blu-Ray
We can transfer your videos to any format you’d like, however MP4 and AVI are the most universal. When transferring to AVI, files will be very big. Files of this type will need to be put on USB External drive. We stock these drives in-store for purchase, if you don’t have one.

Slides and Photographs to CD, DVD, or digital are a must if you want save precious photos and time capsule your family history. Creating a slide show of pictures is a great way to view those memories. Digitizing slides and photos to a disc is a permanent solution to protect the past and pass them on to your next generation of family. We scan all slides at 2400 dpi and pictures 800 dpi. This gives you a great file size for future printing if needed.

The transfer process.

Collect all of your videos, photos, and/or slides that you’d like to have transferred to digital and either drop them off or mail them into our store on the Hamilton Mountain.

We’ll then time out your order based on how many hours of footage you have and we’ll call you with our quote! Our prices are competitive and your order never leaves our store.

Once approved, we’ll move forward with your transfer and call you when it’s complete!

What formats can you transfer?

Any and all formats to digital! All film, tape, slides, photos, and audio formats can be transferred to digital or disc.

Tape Formats:
Regular 8mm, Hi8, Digital 8, Beta, VHS, VHS-C, Mini DV, DVC, DVCam, DVCPRO, Betacam, Betacam SP plus all Foreign formats Pal, Secam, Pal -M, Pal-N, NTSC4.43, Mesecam, or any Video Camera hard drive, Video Disc Camera, SD Card or USB Stick.

Film Formats:
We can take any format, whether it be Regular 8, Super 8, Super 8 with sound or 16mm film and transfer them to digital or DVD without any flicker.

What is the final format after transferring?

We can provide any preferred output format, but the 4 most popular formats are MP4, AVI, CD/DVD, or Blu-Ray.

How much does it cost?

It all depends on how long your videos are, how many slides you have, etc. Pricing differs between film, tape, audio, and photos as well, so please feel free to send us an email or give us a call for a quote!

How do I get my digital files?

We’ll provide you with a couple options! Depending on the file size, we can provide your files on a USB thumb drive, USB external hard drive, or DVD. Don’t have a USB thumb drive or external hard drive? That’s okay! We carry them in-store for purchase and can make sure you have the right storage size for your files.

Do I need to bring my own USB or Hard Drive?

You can, if you prefer! However, we carry them in-store for purchase and can make sure you have the right storage size for your files.

Can you edit my transfers into a movie?

Absolutely! Our in-house editing professional can edit your videos and photos however you’d like! Some examples include: Celebration of Life, Wedding Anniversary, Wedding, Birthday, Sports Demo, etc.

After transferring, can you duplicate my DVD for my family?

For sure! We can duplicate DVDs until the cows come home. Need 3 copies or 1000? We’ve got you.

Do you outsource your transferring service?

Absolutely not. We pride ourselves on offering all of our services in-house. There is no risk of losing your videos/photos. We treat every order as if it were our own.

Can you edit pictures into my videos?

Of course! Want to add a title and some graphics while you’re at it?? No problem!

Do I need an appointment or can I just drop in?

Feel free to just drop in anytime during store hours!
